Peaceful Soles Reflexology

Kathy Murphy had an interest in alternative healing therapies and wanted to be able to help people feel better. She took reflexology training and opened Peaceful Soles Reflexology in 2012. She also has Reiki training which she is able to incorporate into her reflexology sessions. Kathy feels privileged to be able to make a difference in people's lives in this way.

Most of Kathy's clients are more than clients. Many are familiar faces from around town or friends. In a small town like Taylor it doesn't take long to get to know people. Helping people that she knows makes her work more personal and meaningful.

In fact, it is the friendly, caring people that help to make the town so special. Its friendly atmosphere gives it a true community feel, making it a wonderful place to raise a family. Kathy also appreciates the many events that the District puts on and all of the family-friendly places and opportunities for activity and recreation. "There are so many wonderful local activities," she says. Plus, she notes, community spirit is strong, with many people volunteering in one capacity or another. Kathy is deeply involved in community volunteerism as a board member for the Taylor Public Library. She also volunteers with her church and with the Salvation Army.
